Stop Feeling Sorry for Yourself.

Seriously, if there is one thing I’ve learned is that there is no true sympathy. It is only temporary. After a while “It’s gonna be alright” turns into “Get over it.” We all have been through it many times. I am going through it now. I am tired of being deprived in many aspects of life. It is so easy to loathe and wallowing in self pity instead of looking yourself in the eye and admitting that you are doing something wrong. We end up putting ourselves in certain circumstances and we should be able to get ourselves out.

31 Days of Gratitude.

So in my last post, I spoke of being at peace and my reflection. In order to welcome peace, you must first attract it. IN order for the Law of Attraction to work, you must first implement the Law of Gratitude. We take so much for granted and it is downright awful. We complain about our weight and make excuses, but don’t work to change it. We complain that we don’t have the latest up-to-date fashion or gadgets instead of appreciating the ones we have. I’m not going to go on the whole “starving people around the world” rant. It’s not necessary.

We just have to start showing our appreciation for the things we do have and then we will be open to receive more. The Universe/Creator/God listens to us and watches our actions. They give back what we put out. We always get what we ask for, but it may not exactly have been what we wanted. You might have prayed for a new car and got a lemon. Well, it’s new to you but not to someone else. You have to be specific. You can ask, but you have to work for it as well.

The point of this post is that I am using July as my month of gratitude. My birthday is on the 7th so why not? I am happy for life. I am appreciative to have it made it this far when I could’ve died in the womb. Everyday, I am going to write a post about something I am grateful for and what I am doing to convey that. I challenge you to do the same!
